The Laboratory Tech plays a vital role in supporting laboratory operations by maintaining equipment, ensuring data accuracy, and adhering to safety protocols. Working within a small team of 1-5 members, this position requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality control to assist with efficient specimen handling and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure proper functioning
• Record accurate data and maintain logs for laboratory activities
• Conduct quality control checks to uphold laboratory standards
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
• Manage and monitor inventory of laboratory supplies
• Prepare reports summarizing laboratory findings and activities
• Handle specimens carefully, ensuring integrity and proper labeling

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in laboratory techniques
• High school diploma or GED
• Understanding of quality assurance processes
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficient in data entry
