Certified Phlebotomist

Job Title: Phlebotomist

Location: Greensboro, NC 27401

Duration: 13 Weeks with a strong possibility of further extension

Schedule: Friday–Sunday | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12 Hours)

Pay Range: $22-26/hr.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect blood specimens from patients using venipuncture and capillary collection techniques

• Verify patient identity and ensure accurate specimen labeling

• Process and transport specimens according to laboratory standards

• Maintain patient comfort and safety during specimen collection

• Document collections accurately and comply with laboratory procedures

• Follow infection control, safety, and quality assurance protocols

Required Qualifications

• Current Phlebotomy Certification through ASCP, ASPT, or NHA (Required – No Exceptions)

• Previous phlebotomy experience in a hospital or healthcare setting

• Strong venipuncture and specimen collection skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Acute care hospital experience

• Familiarity with laboratory information systems and EMR documentation
