Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct a variety of routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-while adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Record all activities meticulously, mentor new team members or students, and contribute to maintaining laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• A bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree accompanied by ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be attained within one year of hire.
• Maintain your certification actively throughout your tenure.
