Staff Accountant

Staff AccountantThe Staff Accountant will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day financial activities of the company. This includes recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, receiving funds, and the payment of bills. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.Requirements:Financial Recordkeeping:Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.Record all financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.Bank Reconciliation:Reconcile bank and credit card statements and ensure that all transactions are properly accounted for.Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues with financial records.Funds Movement:Supporting accounts receivable activityMonitoring the movement of funds both in and out of bank accounts.Maintaining relationships with both customers and vendors.Compliance and Documentation:Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.Maintain organized and comprehensive financial documentation for audit purposes.Qualifications:Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.Proficiency in using business software: NetSuite, Excel, Google Workspace, Salesforce, etc.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.Excellent organizational and time-management skills.Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.Schedule:Monday - Thursday, 7:30am - 4:30pm with a 1-hour lunch, Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm with a 30-minute lunchWhat You'll Get:Benefits are available to all full-time employees after 90 daysMedical, dental, vision, and life insuranceCompany 401k match at 6%Access to a Health Savings Account or Flexible Spending AccountProfessional development assistancePaid time offGet in on the ground floorAmple opportunity for advancement; we want to see you growDog-friendly office space … because dogs make everything better, right?EEOZLINE Kitchen and Bath, LLC is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
