Member Experience Representative

Location: Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid after eligibility requirements are met)

Job Type: Contract-to-Hire

Pay Rate: $21.00/hour

About the Role

We are seeking reliable and customer-focused Member Experience Representatives to join a growing healthcare services team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for members and healthcare providers, assisting with health insurance inquiries related to claims, benefits, and eligibility.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong customer service and call center experience who are looking to build a long-term career within the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle 50-60 inbound calls per day from members and healthcare providers
• Respond to inquiries regarding health insurance claims, benefits, and eligibility
• Research and resolve customer issues in a professional and timely manner
• Accurately document interactions and update member information in company systems
• Utilize Microsoft Office applications and internal systems to support customer requests
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction while meeting performance expectations
• Follow established procedures and compliance requirements

Required Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience
• Call center experience in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Teams, Word, and Excel
• Ability to multitask and navigate multiple systems simultaneously
• Strong attendance record and commitment to reliability
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn and advance professionally

Preferred Qualifications

• Healthcare, insurance, or benefits administration experience
• Experience supporting members, patients, or providers

Work Schedule

• Training is conducted onsite
• Initial training period is approximately 4 weeks at 30 hours per week
• Regular shifts are scheduled within operating hours of 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Candidates must be flexible and available to work any shift during business hours
• Employees will provide shift preferences during training; assignment is based on business needs

Hybrid Eligibility

After 90 days, employees may be eligible for a hybrid schedule consisting of:

• 3 days remote
• 2 days onsite

Eligibility is dependent upon meeting attendance and performance expectations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bloomington, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
