Job Duties

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components into complete compressor systems using drawings and bills of materials.
• Perform precise alignment, measurement, and electrical/pressure testing.
• Document work orders via company computer systems and maintain inventory traceability.
• Execute complex alignment and measurement activities such as backlash calibration and axial play positioning to ensure compliance with technical specs.
• Connect compressors to testing consoles, operate automated test programs, diagnose issues via fault identification, troubleshoot effectively, and implement corrective actions within set timelines.
• Perform comprehensive functional and static testing such as oil, air, and water pressure evaluations as well as electrical safety checks including grounding, insulation resistance and full system functional tests.
• Maintain a clean, hazard-free workstation following 5S and safety standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Technical voctational training is a strong asset.

Experience Requirements

• 2+ years in mechanical, electrical, or heavy industrial assembly.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and parts lists.
• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic tools.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Manual dexterity to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
• Ability to maintain focus while performing detailed assembly work in a manufacturing environment.
