Job Description: Quality Assurance Inspector for Electronics Assembly
Monday - Friday 6 am -2:30 pm
We are seeking a detailoriented Quality Assurance Inspector to support the production of highquality electronic assemblies. This role focuses on inspecting SMT and throughhole components, verifying workmanship to industry standards, and ensuring all products meet quality and documentation requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect SMT and throughhole assemblies for workmanship, accuracy, and proper component installation.
Perform visual inspection using microscopes, magnifiers, and other optical tools.
Verify product quality using gauges, calipers, and basic measurement instruments.
Review and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions to confirm compliance.
Apply IPCA610 and JSTD001 standards during inspection and acceptance of electronic assemblies.
Document inspection results, nonconformances, and rework requirements accurately.
Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement.
Ensure all work follows company procedures, safety guidelines, and quality system requirements.
Qualifications
Experience inspecting SMT and throughhole electronic assemblies required or strongly preferred.
Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
Skilled in performing inspections under a microscope for extended periods.
Familiarity with gauges, calipers, and other measurement tools.
Knowledge of IPCA610 and/or JSTD001 workmanship standards (certification is a plus).
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation skills.
Prior experience in electronics manufacturing or quality assurance is beneficial.
