Our solutions improve the techniques and outcomes of surgery so patients can resume their lives as quickly as possible.Position Summary: The Quality Control Inspector is a critical player in Globus' quality operations, ensuring the correct parts and products make it into our manufacturing & service processes, as well as into our customers' hands. This individual works to inspect critical quality attributes as well as for conformance to internal & external standards.Hours: 7:30am-4:00pm, 15min Break / 30min Lunch BreakPrimary Responsibilities:Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on medical device components and assembliesRead and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and inspection proceduresUse precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges, and comparatorsVerify product conformance to internal specifications and customer requirementsComplete inspection records and documentation accurately and in a timely mannerSupport Material Review Board (MRB) activities and nonconforming material processesCoordinate inspection activities and prioritize work to support production schedules and customer demandWork closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve quality issuesMaintain clean and organized inspection areas following 5S standardsAssist with source inspection activities at supplier locations when neededMove materials and products throughout inspection and production areasFollow all company safety procedures and quality standardsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum 2 years of Quality Inspection experience in manufacturing or medical device industry preferredAbility to read and understand engineering drawings and GD&TStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsGood communication and teamwork skillsBasic computer skills and experience with ERP systems preferredAbility to lift 20-50 pounds MAX as neededForklift certification is a plusAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Skills:Knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA regulationsExperience with First Article Inspection (FAI) documentationFamiliarity with nonconformance and corrective action processesStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsOur Values :Our Life Moves Us philosophy is built on four values: Passionate About Innovation, Customer Focused, Teamwork, and Driven.Passionate about Innovation: Improving patient care by delivering advanced technology to our customers is at the core of what we do.
