Your day to day as a Asphalt Paver Operator As a Full-Time Asphalt Paver Operator at J T Russell & Sons, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the paver to meet project specifications and production requirements. Your expertise will help maintain the proper depth, grade, and finished cross-section of asphalt material. You'll collaborate closely with fellow crew members, applying asphalt as instructed and taking on various tasks as needed. Regular checks on equipment functionality and performing preventative maintenance will be essential to ensure safety and optimal operation. You'll also be responsible for cleaning the equipment and executing minor repairs while reporting larger issues to supervisors. Compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, alongside adherence to company safety procedures and PPE policies, is vital. Knowledge And Skills Required For The Position Are 3+ years asphalt paver operation experience is required with an emphasis on roads, highways, and bridges.
