Build relationships across the organization to ensure digital initiatives are coordinated. Anticipate and plan for upstream impacts to consumer platformDevelop and maintain a comprehensive digital data strategy and roadmap for the consumer communication business teamPlan and execute Agile features to support digital strategies and collaborate with peer Product Owners to integrate into overall roadmapAct as a change agent. Identify, plan, influence, and execute database/process changes related to migration from Unica to Adobe campaign toolsRepresent the business and consumers in a highly collaborative and cross-functional environmentDevelop holistic knowledge of the data ecosystem, including a Microsoft Hyperscale data platform and Microsoft SQL Server databaseEducate and communicate across the department and other teams about the data ecosystem and specific data domainsApply a curious and inquisitive approach to solving data challenges. Think through complex data structures and identify impacts of changes while considering interim and long-term strategiesPerform detailed data analysis and QC when needed using SSMS and advanced SQL queriesAct as Agile Product Owner when needed – possible for first yearSupport departmental and organizational plans and priorities to accomplish yearly revenue and consumer satisfaction goalsSpecial projects as assignedCompetencies:Embraces ambiguity and changing priorities and thrives in a dynamic environmentStrong relationship-building and project management skills; ready to navigate through highly matrixed teams to find the right contactsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to lead by influence in a quasi-technical roleCurious and excited to learn new things every day and unafraid to ask questions to gain understandingGrowth mindset, sharp analytical and creative problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle situations with humor and patienceYou’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience7+ years professional experience in technology, marketing, or health care2+ years of experience in data-centric roles such as Data Science, Business Intelligence, business analytics, data warehousing, data acquisition, Big Data, or data architectureAble to attend daily meetings at 8:00 AM US Central time (schedule is flexible otherwise)Preferred Qualifications:2+ years of enterprise-level consumer data experienceExperience working with internal and external stakeholders to collect business, functional and technical requirementsExperience using Rally (CA Agile); experience and/or interest in being an Agile Product OwnerWorking knowledge of health care or pharmacy benefit management industry products/services and operationsProficiency with T-SQL queries and/or Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)Careers with OptumRx.
