HR Generalist Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Contract HR Generalist to support the Human Resources team with day-to-day HR operations, onboarding, and employee administration. This role will work closely with the HR Business Partner to ensure a smooth employee experience and consistent execution of HR processes across assigned business units. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys a hands-on role focused on onboarding, employee support, and HR operations. Experience with Workday is strongly preferred. Note: This role does not include compensation or benefits administration. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage all aspects of new hire onboarding Prepare offer and onboarding documentation and ensure completion of employment paperwork Maintain employee records and process changes including promotions, transfers, and reporting updates Serve as a first point of contact for employee and manager HR questions Provide guidance on company policies and procedures Support employee relations activities, including PIPs, disciplinary meetings, and terminations Participate in employee relations meetings and document outcomes Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback summaries Review and resolve payroll-related discrepancies involving timecards and PTO Generate HR reports and maintain data accuracy within HR systems Assist with special projects and other HR initiatives as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred Minimum of 3 years of HR experience in a generalist or coordinator capacity Strong experience with onboarding and HR administration Employee relations experience preferred Experience with Workday strongly preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage confidential information with discretion Preferred Background Experience in logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or other fast-paced environments Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and follow-through Why This Opportunity?
