What You'll Do: * Diagnose and fix residential HVAC systems, ensuring every job meets safety standards and regulatory codes. * Build strong customer relationships by providing knowledge and understanding of new and existing customer needs and expectations. * Explain replacement opportunities for aging, inefficient, or underperforming systems. * Keep systems running smoothly by cleaning coils, calibrating controls, and replacing motors, fans, and filters. * Explain technical issues in plain English, offering clear repair options and costs so homeowners can make informed decisions. * Replace refrigerant lines, vents, and humidifiers while ensuring all work is accurate and serviceable. * Maintain clean records of services provided and explain warranties to customers. * Participate actively in all training exercises, continuing education, morning meetings, trade shows, and retreats. What You Bring: * 2+ years in residential HVAC service. * Must live in or near McHenry County. * High School Diploma/GED and a valid driver's license with a clean record. EPA Certification is preferred. * You own the personal tools of the trade. * A team player who communicates effectively and takes pride in a job well done. Physical Requirements and Work Environment: * Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50-80 lbs. * Ability to frequent stoop, kneel and crouch to work in tight spaces. * Ability to climb and work from ladders. * Must be able to work in both extreme heat and cold, as well as adverse weather conditions.
