We are looking for a dedicated full-time Neurosurgeon to become part of a hospital-based practice in the McAllen/Edinburg area of Texas. This position focuses on advanced cranial neurosurgery, which includes intricate brain tumor resections, cerebrovascular interventions, and skull base surgeries, while also handling spinal cases to complement a primarily cranial workload. You will collaborate with a robust and supportive care team, ensuring you can concentrate on providing outstanding cranial neurosurgical services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive neurosurgical care for cranial patients
• Work closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Oversee both inpatient and outpatient neurosurgical cases, along with shared call duties
• Efficiently document all patient care activities using the Cerner EMR system

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
• Possession of an active or eligible Texas medical license
• Required experience in both cranial and spinal neurosurgery
