Overview

Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Assess patient needs, develop and implement comprehensive care plans, and reevaluate plans as conditions change.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; delegate tasks appropriately.
- Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other disciplines; participate in rounds and multidisciplinary planning.
- Utilize critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
- Monitor patient status, administer medications and treatments as ordered, and document care accurately and timely.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in good standing (state of Oregon)
- Minimum 1 year of recent hospital-based nursing experience
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (3x12) and maintain a 36-hour work week
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Willingness to travel for a travel assignment
