Website: Click here for a virtual Facility Tour Position Summary Under the direction/supervision of the Director, Admissions/Intake, the Assistant Director of Admissions/Intake will provide direct leadership to Admissions staff. Assist with providing psychiatric assessments and basic medical screening to all psychiatric and chemical dependency patients presented for assessment and evaluation. Coordinate the admission process for inpatient, partial or outpatient programs. Facilitate referrals for outpatient services and other community resources. Working knowledge of the Addiction & Recovery field and experience in clinical interviewing, patient assessment, family motivation, treatment planning, communicating with external review organizations or comparable entities, and working effectively with people of diverse backgrounds. Minimum two (2) years leadership experience managing a related function. Must have strong management skills with ability to effectively communicate with staff, ensuring proper employee performance management. Education Bachelor of Science degree in social work, mental health/behavioral sciences, or related field required; Master\'s Degree preferred. Licensure/Certification Current Texas License as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
