Mariah Hurlburt – Partner: Mariah joined New York Life in 2018 and has served as a Partner since 2022, where she is passionate about developing driven financial professionals. Before New York Life, she spent more than 10 years excelling in high-performance sales, business development, and business ownership, consistently earning top-performer recognition. She is also the Co-Founder of WOIIA (Women of Impact, Influence & Action), a professional network dedicated to developing women leaders, and enjoys spending time with her husband, Blaine, and their son, Clark. Alicia Ward – Director of Recruiting: Alicia has been with New York Life since 2005, beginning her career in Contracting & Licensing before moving into recruiting. Today, as Director of Recruiting for the Central Oregon Region of the Greater Oregon General Office, Ali partners closely with Partner Mariah Hurlburt to identify and recruit talented professionals seeking meaningful careers in financial services. With over 20 years of company experience, she brings deep knowledge of the onboarding, licensing, and development processes for new financial professionals. She serves as each candidate’s primary point of contact throughout recruiting and onboarding, helping ensure a smooth transition and clear guidance as they begin their careers. Jackson Komlofske – Financial Professional: Jackson joined New York Life in 2022 and has quickly established himself as a high-performing financial professional committed to helping clients protect what matters most while building long-term financial confidence. Prior to joining New York Life, Jackson worked as a Firefighter EMT and in construction, bringing a strong background in service, discipline, and hands-on problem solving into his financial practice. Outside of work, Jackson enjoys spending time with family and friends. What You’ll Do:

• Learn the business by building your own client base and developing your financial practice.
• Help individuals, families, and business owners protect what matters most through personalized insurance and financial strategies.
• Build lasting client relationships while providing ongoing guidance as clients' needs evolve.
• Develop your knowledge through comprehensive training, mentorship, and required licensing.
• Grow your practice through networking, referrals, and community involvement.

You may be a strong fit if you:

• Have experience in sales, client-facing roles, business development, or leadership (formal experience is helpful but not required)
• Have operated in environments where results, accountability, and performance matter
• Come from a background such as business ownership, management, military service, athletics, or other competitive fields
• Hold a bachelor’s degree or higher (MBA or advanced degree is a plus, not required)
