This entry-level position will assist with preparing purchase orders, communicating with suppliers, tracking orders, entering purchasing and receiving information into the company ERP system, and helping ensure materials are received accurately and on time. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working with computers and data entry. Previous ERP and data entry experience is a plus. Essential Functions Prepare and submit purchase orders to approved suppliers based on material requirements and internal requests. Review purchase orders for accuracy, including quantities, pricing, part numbers, specifications, and delivery dates. Communicate with suppliers to obtain order acknowledgements and delivery updates. Track open and past-due purchase orders and communicate delays to appropriate departments. Enter purchase orders, receipts, supplier information, and other purchasing data accurately into the ERP system. Review packing lists and incoming materials to ensure receipts are properly documented. Assist with resolving discrepancies between purchase orders, packing slips, receipts, and invoices. Work closely with Receiving, Supply Chain, Production, Engineering, Quality, and Accounting to resolve purchasing and material issues. Assist with obtaining supplier quotes and pricing as requested. Maintain accurate supplier and purchasing information in the ERP system. Support inventory and material requirements by helping ensure necessary components and supplies are ordered on time. As experience is gained, assist with identifying alternative suppliers, materials, or purchasing options. This is a full-time on-site position, and typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Overtime as required. About You High school diploma or equivalent required Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow through on commitments Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team Data entry and ERP experience is a plus Previous manufacturing, purchasing, inventory, or supply chain experience is a plus Basic Microsoft Excel skills preferred Strong communication and problem-solving skills Interest in developing a career in purchasing, supply chain, or operations IND1 #J-18808-Ljbffr DeLisaGroup
