Through these efforts, we aim to make snowboarding and the outdoors accessible to all.Summary of PositionThe Store Manager is responsible for developing Burton pop-up store in North Conway, NH, according to Burton's Retail standards. Scope of tasks include staff hiring, training and development, customer service in a 360-degree matter, organizing and optimizing store stock & assortment, and follow VM standards. Reporting directly to the NA Retail Manager. The role is expected to contribute substantially to developing Burton's DTC department, the store and its staff to archive a consumer centric environment to become the Retailer of the future.Essential Responsibilities:Create business strategies to attract new customers, expand store traffic, and enhance profitabilityRecruit staff, as neededTrain, mentor, and develop staff on a frequent basisMonitor inventory managementGive guidance on In-store Marketing and align with Burton's Marketing strategiesProvide reporting on store resultsManage store budgetNet Sales PlanningAct on Burton Product Warranty cases according to Burton's warranty processBe a brand ambassador for the Burton brandOther duties as assignedEducation & Experience:Minimum 5 years of Retail experience or equivalent experience in the field of sporting goods & fashion, ideally in a managerial role.Excellent people managing skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsOpen-minded, and agile team playerHands-on mentality with a proactive work attitudeConflict management skillsSignificant experience in customer serviceGreat time management skillsThough we wish we could reach out to all applicants personally, you will only be contacted directly should you be chosen to move forward in the process.
