Position Overview

MinuteClinic is seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide evidence-based primary and family care in a collaborative clinical environment.

The provider will be responsible for patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, chronic disease management, health counseling, preventive care, and disposition planning while working closely with the clinical care team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, routine examinations, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Provide primary and family care using evidence-based practices.
• Manage chronic health conditions and support preventive care.
• Counsel patients on healthy lifestyle choices and wellness.
• Perform diagnostic testing for injuries and illnesses.
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals.
• Promote health screenings, behavioral health, wellness, and chronic condition management.
• Handle clinic administrative responsibilities, including patient follow-up, appointments, insurance verification, inventory, and maintaining a clean clinical environment.

✅ Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a Family Nurse Practitioner program .
• Current National Board Certification .
• Active state license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse in the state of employment.
• Minimum 1 year of recent primary care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in family medicine, primary care, or urgent care.
• Prior primary care or urgent care experience is required .
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to practice autonomously and work effectively without direct supervision.
• Proficiency with healthcare information systems and technology.
• Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure when needed.

• Screenshot of BLS certification — BLS from American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA) is required.

• Interview and start-date availability.
• Planned time off, if applicable.
• Confirmation regarding current CVS recruiting activity and willingness to travel for float coverage, if necessary.

Additional Information

• MinuteClinic positions are safety sensitive .
• DEA registration may be required during onboarding.
• Unless otherwise specified, the role may require working three out of every six weekends , with possible holiday rotations.
