Technology Manager (Contract)

The contract Technology Manager will play an integral part in our tech forward organization, and will support new tech and updates for staff PCs, manage Google Admin Console and improve security, provide larger tech stack strategy, support AI agent development and training, and manage technology consultants. Long-term, this role would ideally become familiar with HubSpot and aid in higher-level support and AI integration, and play a role in leveraging technology to aid program development and use. This position will require up to 20 hours/wk.

Responsibilities

Technology Strategy & Implementation (40%)

• Lead or support technology projects from planning through deployment.
• Improve technology reliability and employee productivity.
• Support the development and deployment of AI agents and automation.
• Train employees on AI tools and business technologies.
• Develop HubSpot expertise and support future AI integration.

General Technology Support (40%)

• Support staff computers and workplace technology.
• Plan and deploy hardware and software updates.
• Administer Google Workspace and Google Admin Console.
• Evaluate the technology stack and recommend improvements.
• Manage technology consultants and vendors.
• Turn business needs into practical technology solutions.

Cybersecurity & Issue Resolution (20%)

• Improve Google Workspace and endpoint security.
• Maintain IT documentation and support security and audit requirements.
• Coordinate technical issue resolution with IT and external providers.

Technical Knowledge and Skills

• Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows PCs and endpoint hardware as well as business applications and workplace technologies.
• Working knowledge of cloud administration and cybersecurity best practices, including endpoint management and data protection.
• Ability to evaluate how business applications and data work together with automation and security across the technology stack.
• Ability to clearly document system requirements and processes as well as testing procedures and training materials.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to coordinate projects and manage vendors effectively.

Certifications

• Google Workspace Administrator or Google Professional Workspace Administrator certification is preferred. 
• Relevant certifications from Microsoft or CompTIA are beneficial but not required. Certifications in ITIL and cybersecurity as well as cloud technology and AI or HubSpot are also valued.
• Continued professional development in Google Workspace and cybersecurity is expected along with ongoing learning in AI and other emerging technologies.

This position reports to the Vice President of Operations. The schedule is flexible, but must be available during normal business hours. 

Pay ranges between $45-$65/hour and is commensurate with experience.
