About the Role
The Company is seeking a Regional Vice President of Sales for the Retail Central region. The successful candidate will be tasked with providing the overall direction, leadership, and evaluation of a sales team, with a primary focus on increasing sales volume from both new and existing accounts. This role requires a hands-on approach, including coaching, mentoring, and leading the strategic and tactical sales efforts to achieve long-term goals. The Regional Vice President will be responsible for following the company's sales management process, leading effective sales strategies for multiple products, and ensuring the team meets performance metrics. The position also involves a significant amount of travel, estimated at 40%, to customer and prospective customer accounts. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA or related Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 10 years of sales experience, including at least 5 years in a sales leadership role. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets, experience in solution-based selling, and a strong understanding of financial principles. Key skills and competencies include integrity, strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to build and maintain relationships. The role demands a self-starter with the ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to the company's values and ethics.
