CNC Operator

CNC OperatorLocation: Westlake, OH Nesco Resource is working with a long standing client who is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist with the ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Skilled in loading and adjusting CNC programs, performing machine setups, verifying product quality, and using precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet specifications. Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T, preventive maintenance, tooling, and quality control. Recognized for mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to producing high-quality parts safely and efficiently.Job DutiesRetrieves and loads programs; reviews requirements and may write subroutines.Sets up jobs by loading tools and positioning product.Performs program adjustments.Verifies and documents product conformance.Sharpens or reworks tooling.Performs deburring/demagnetizing.Reports defective material or unsafe conditions.Performs preventive maintenance and cleaning.Provides backup for other departments.Enters process data into shop terminals.Qualifications3–5 years machine shop experience preferred.
