Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Setup Operator to join our dynamic team in Berea, OH. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our manufacturing process, ensuring that our CNC lathe machines are set up and operated efficiently to produce high-quality components. If you have a passion for precision machining and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!
ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC lathe machines according to specifications and production schedules.
Collaborate with Engineering and Quality Department to ensure all production meets customer specification.
Perform tool changes, offsets, and adjustments to maintain product quality.
Conduct regular inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments.
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any machining issues.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
Document production data and maintain accurate records of machine operations.
Manages and coaches CNC lathe Operators.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in machining is a plus.
- Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Operator or similar role 2-3 years required.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and setup procedures.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents and blueprints.
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
