Project Accountant

$35 - $38 per hour

Century Group

Our client, based in Burbank, has an immediate need for a Project Accountant. Role is onsite. Only local applicants will be considered. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $35 to $38 per hour.

Job Description:

Prepare journal entries and accruals
Analysis of general ledger accounts
Reconciliation of bank accounts
Project billing and invoicing
Monitor cash flow and collections
Track subcontractor invoices, process ACH payments, check runs
Assist with processing certified payroll (prevailing wages)
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

3+ years accounting in construction industry
Experienced with QuickBooks and MS Excel
Must understand the accounting fundamentals with strong GAAP accounting knowledge
Excellent communication and organizational skills
