Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Alexandria, LA. This travel assignment requires an experienced nurse to provide routine and advanced care independently, with the potential for a temp-to-perm opportunity. The work environment involves caring for patients undergoing cardiac caths, TAVR, and other devices.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments, monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and care givers
• Consistently demonstrate leadership and competency aligned with OneCHRISTUS Competencies

Requirements of the RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

• BLS required from AHA
• ACLS required from AHA
• RN License in state of employment or compact
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
