Seven Healthcare is seeking a dedicated RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab role in Alexandria, LA. This travel position involves working with cardiac caths, peripherals, TAVR, and devices. The competent nurse will work independently and manage various clinical situations, providing both routine and complex care with a focus on long-term goals. The work environment includes a collaborative nurse-to-patient ratio of one patient to four staff members.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocol and monitor for side effects
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers

Requirements of the RN - Cardiac Cath Lab

• BLS required from AHA
• ACLS required from AHA
• RN License in state of employment or compact
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
• One year of experience in a critical care setting preferred, but new graduates will be considered
