Sr. Finance Associate Attorney

Job Description

Our client is seeking a s enior level finance attorney to support their corporate finance and debt restructuring practices. Primary responsibilities will include the following:

• Representing lenders and corporate borrowers in a variety of financing arrangements including acquisition and leveraged buyout financings.
\n
• Leading private equity-backed financings across various industries.
\n
• Structuring, negotiating and documenting secured and unsecured lending facilities, including ABL, unitranche and cash flow transactions.
\n
• Drafting credit agreements, commitment papers, security documents, guarantees and related financing transaction documents.
\n
• Handling bilateral and syndicated credit facilities, including intercreditor agreements and AALs.
\n
• Documenting and closing mezzanine debt transactions and preferred equity investments.
\n
• Collaborating with and supporting various practice groups in finance related matters.
\n
• Serving as primary point of contact for active finance matters.
\n

The successful candidate is expected to have experience with sophisticated commercial finance matters.

Requirements

\n
• 8 - 15 years of leveraged finance/transactional workout experience at a nationally recognized AMLAW 100 law firm, including experience with cross-border transactions.
\n
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
\n
• Bar admission in NY.
\n
• Strong drafting and communication skills and ability to work in a team setting.
\n
• Ability to manage complex transactions and tight timeframes.
\n

The range of base salary* the Firm reasonably expects to pay for this role is $350,000-$425,000. The actual base salary for this role within the above range will depend upon number of years out of law-school, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
