Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, including severity, frequency, and impact on daily life.

• Collaborate with clients to craft individualized treatment plans catering to their specific needs, goals, and personal preferences, ensuring a person-centered approach.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate healing.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders and available treatment options, as well as effective self-care strategies that can enhance overall well-being.

• Monitor and evaluate clients’ progress throughout the course of therapy, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to deliver integrated, comprehensive care that addresses both psychological and medical needs.

• Stay informed about the latest research in mood disorders to continually adapt and improve therapeutic approaches.

• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment processes in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Advocate for clients by promoting the de-stigmatization of mood disorders and raising awareness around mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals struggling with mood disorders, including both children and adults within the school environment. This role will involve using a trauma-informed approach to understand the unique challenges faced by each client, making it crucial to build trusting and empathetic relationships that encourage open communication and long-lasting therapeutic alliances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.

• At least three years of post-licensure experience, with a strong emphasis on mood disorders.
\n
• Demonstrable expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to mood disorders, including CBT and DBT.

• Proficiency in psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate effectively with other health professionals on treatment plans.

• Outstanding communication skills with a proven ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and expertise.
