Travel Surgical Tech/ORT - Certified Surgical Technologist/CST

American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with ortho/joint experience for a hospital OR position offering 7A-7P shifts.

Job Details

• Work in a 14-OR hospital surgical department,
• Unit staffed with 70 FTEs including charge RNs, RN/ST pairs per OR, PCTs, ATs, and a trauma team,
• Day shift includes 1 charge, 1 RN and 1 ST per OR plus trauma team support,
• Night shift includes 1 charge, 1 RN and 1 ST,
• 1:1 patient ratios (estimated, not guaranteed),
• Typical procedures include neuro, transplant, ortho, and spine cases,
• Meditech EMR used,
• 13-week assignment with 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM shift schedule,
• Flexibility required for day/evening hours as needed,
• On-call requirement of 1-2 shifts per week between 5 PM and 7 PM,

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of current acute care hospital experience as a CST,
• NBSTSA certification required prior to consideration,
• BLS certification required,
• Ortho/joint experience required,
• Level I trauma experience preferred,
• Prior Meditech experience preferred,
• State license required if applicable,
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,
