Senior Account Manager, JOEM/KOEM Impact and Opportunity This role is focused on developing and strengthening strategic client relationships through proactive, transparent, and effective communication. As a key partner to our JOEM/KOEM customers, you will help ensure Gentherm consistently delivers solutions aligned with customer goals, expectations, and long-term business objectives. You will have the opportunity to work directly with high-profile international accounts, playing a visible and impactful role within the organization. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Lead cross-functional efforts to deliver new business opportunities with new and existing customers aligned with customer/product strategies Lead customer interactions as main point of contact Increase sales, profits and market share (as per Department KPI) in accordance with the company’s thermal systems strategic direction through diverse sources, such as IHS data, press releases, trade shows or customer announcements (new models, face lifts, model replacements) Manage all commercial aspects of new identified business (Business Case Development) in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner Obtain customer RFQ’s for new business Provide customer price targets to internal teams Participate in the Quote Kick‑off meeting and provide all the financial details to the team as required Approve final price, price breakdowns and customer response letter. Lead and manage all customer price negotiations. Achieve profitable business growth through successful program awards and strategic business acquisitions. Represent the "Voice of the Customer" from a financial perspective to the internal teams (price negotiations, LTA, ECR price changes, price discrepancy) for the life of the project Develop and maintain frequent and effective communication with assigned customer base in order to review/resolve any price discrepancies/other financial issues as well as to ensure the development of future business opportunities Participate and provide input in internal cost reduction activities Input and update volume forecast and piece price for awarded and targeted programs into the Gentherm budgeting/forecasting tool Represent Gentherm as the main customer interface fostering and further developing a strong relationship Interface with internal global team to align on pricing strategies and customer KPI’s Support the execution of product line strategies and overall business profitability Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a business related‑field Fluent in Korean or Japanese, as well as fluency in English Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience working with Automotive OEM’s and Tier 1 Suppliers Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications Experience working with Korean OEM and Tier 1 Suppliers Familiar with managing North American and Korean accounts Nice to Know Travel: Up to 30% Local Deliver Results: Understand the mission and output of your team; set SMART objectives and deliver Drive Change: Focus on agility and commitment to continuous improvement; Understand and act on internal and external drivers of change Build Capability: Foster a culture of learning and development; Support individual growth through continuous feedback to achieve personal and professional goals Openly embrace, create, implement and support new and innovative ideas, processes and technology that deliver business results PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT (US): All positions in our office require interaction with people and technology while either standing or sitting.
