Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Care Provider to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based primary care across the lifespan. This position involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating acute and chronic conditions, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with a team for holistic patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat medical conditions.
• Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver preventive care and wellness counseling.
• Coordinate care with specialists and ensure timely follow-up.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in EMR.
• Co-manage patient panels with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Associates.
• Manage a patient panel of at least 1,500 patients.
• Participate in clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in 24-hour on-call coverage approximately 1-2 weeks per quarter.
• Work one evening shift per week and provide occasional Saturday coverage.
• Maintain hospital privileges and stay current with CME.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with completion of an applicable residency (Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Pediatrics).
• Board-certified or board-eligible.
• Active Massachusetts medical license and DEA registration.

Skills

• Proficiency in EMR systems, preferably Epic.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Additional Requirements

Hybrid flexibility with 4 days on-site and 1 admin day per week (remote option available for admin day). Must agree to work full-time with one evening shift per week and occasional Saturday coverage.
