Position Overview Harris County Universal Services is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior PeopleSoft Developer that has extensive experience in supporting ERP systems, including designing and development of PeopleSoft FSCM or HCM systems, upgrades, and project migration. Works closely with business analysts and/or key users, assessing business needs and determining/implementing information technology solutions. Job Responsibilities Develop and maintain PeopleSoft applications, including performance tuning, troubleshooting, ongoing maintenance, and the resolution of system issues. Design, code, and unit test complex projects. Participate in the technical design and coding of interfaces, data conversions, reports, and customizations providing the required functionality not supplied by the ERP package. Collaborate with internal users, staff members, and information technology colleagues to define detailed customer requirements and system interfaces while assessing value in modification to delivered software versus building new functionality. Recognized as a subject matter expert in multiple technical areas and serve as a lead technical resource on projects. Coordinate directly with the functional lead and customer to ensure a high level of satisfaction is achieved and maintained. Harris County is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Education Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field. Experience 8+ years of experience with PeopleSoft Financials or PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 and above. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities PeopleTools 8.55 or above. Application Engines, Application Packages, SQL, and PeopleCode. Integration Broker. PeopleSoft ExcelToCi. Fluid pages, dashboards, activity guides, event mapping, drop zones, page field configuration, page composer, work centers. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent problem‑solving skills. Excellent ability to organize information, manage tasks and use available tools to effectively contribute to an organization.
