Our growing manufacturing company is adding a senior business intelligence role where someone understands the Advanced Manufacturing module for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and can make and guide decisions for growth. Provide executive leadership with real-time business intelligence that supports strategic decision making. Growing manufacturing company is seeking an experienced ERP & Solutions Engineer to become the company’s internal technical leader for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and enterprise business systems. This position will own the development, implementation, optimization, and long-term support of Business Central, Advanced Manufacturing, reporting, and business intelligence solutions that enable operational excellence across the organization. Reporting directly to executive leadership, the ERP & Solutions Engineer will partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, and IT to improve business processes, implement best practices, automate workflows, develop executive dashboards, and ensure Business Central serves as the company’s single source of truth. This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring both technical expertise and business acumen. The successful candidate will serve as the organization’s internal expert on ERP, manufacturing systems, reporting, and enterprise process improvement. Business Intelligence & Reporting Design, develop, and maintain enterprise reporting solutions including: Manufacturing performance metrics Inventory and warehouse analytics Production costing analysis Capacity utilization Margin analysis Engineering and project reporting Operational scorecards Develop reporting solutions using: Microsoft Power BI (preferred platform) Business Central reporting SQL queries and views Excel Power Query Jet Reports (preferred) Preferred Qualifications Experience with one or more of the following is strongly preferred: Microsoft Power BI dashboard development and enterprise reporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Advanced Manufacturing Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps & Power Automate) SQL Server and database reporting AL development and Business Central extensions Jet Reports Manufacturing cost accounting Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma CAD/PDM integration API development and systems integration Engineering-to-Order (ETO) and Configure-to-Order (CTO) manufacturing Discrete manufacturing environments Desired Technical Skills Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Advanced Manufacturing Power BI Power Platform SQL Server Report Writing Manufacturing Analytics Workflow Automation API Integration Data Modeling Production Planning MRP Inventory Optimization Microsoft 365 Excel Power Query Success Metrics Within the first 12–18 months, the ERP & Solutions Engineer will: Successfully implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Advanced Manufacturing. Develop executive Power BI dashboards providing near real-time visibility into key business metrics. Eliminate manual reporting through automated dashboards and workflow automation. Improve inventory accuracy to greater than 98%. Increase production scheduling efficiency. Standardize manufacturing and business processes across departments. Build scalable reporting and analytics capabilities to support continued company growth. Establish Business Central as the enterprise platform supporting data-driven decision making.
