Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year experience required License: Active Registered Nurse license required Certifications: BLS certification required Must-Have: - EKG interpretation skills required - EPIC charting system experience required - Ability to interpret laboratory results - Experience in medication reconciliation Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse with a specialty in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry. The nurse will work a night shift of 12 hours, from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. The nurse must be flexible with scheduling. This position includes rotating weekend shifts and holidays as needed. All travel nurses may be required to float to different campuses if needed. Acute care rehabilitation experience is preferred. Candidates must have a thorough understanding of dysrhythmias and nursing care for neurological diagnoses. Patient ratios are set at 1 nurse to 6 patients. The unit provides specialized care for patients with rehabilitation needs. Candidates must pass a mandatory EKG exam as part of compliance requirements. Non-compliance with deadlines will affect the ability to start in the position. All candidates should ensure they have no barriers that would prevent them from completing compliance requirements on time.
