Conduct thorough evaluations for patients across various age groups, utilizing standardized tests and observational methods.

Craft individualized treatment plans tailored to short-term and long-term goals pertaining to communication, cognition, or swallowing.

Deliver specialized one-on-one speech therapy focused on enhancing communication skills, fluency, voice articulation, and swallowing techniques.

Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including occupational and physical therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop integrated care plans.

Provide education for both patients and their families to support progression and success beyond the clinic.

Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring continuity and quality of care throughout each patient's journey.

Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation following all state, federal, and organizational regulations.

Engage in ongoing professional development and education to stay abreast of advancements in the field.

A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is required if ASHA certification has not been achieved.

Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.

Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.

Proven proficiency in evidence-based treatments across the lifespan, with a comprehensive understanding of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.

Exceptional interpersonal communication skills to foster relationships with patients, families, and multi-disciplinary teams.

Ability to tailor therapy methods to suit diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate clinical challenges effectively.

Competence in utilizing electronic medical records while adhering to documentation standards.
