Compensation Hourly Pay $33.00–$35.00 per hour (based upon experience) Shift premium: $1.50 per hour Schedule: Second Shift Monday‑Friday 2:00 PM‑10:30 PM Benefits Paid training and support Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 K etc. starting at 30 days Paid time off 401 K company match High‑valued stock at 15 % employee discount Employee discounts on tools, cars, hotels, electronics, cell phones, travel, etc. Safety gear provided Caring leadership prioritizing safety Focus on continuous improvement Products Handled Manual and automated supply chain warehouse equipment Requirements Vocational or technical certification in a related field or 5 years of relevant experience Five (5) years or more of maintenance repair and preventive maintenance on warehouse automation equipment Two (2) years or more experience with connecting to programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting equipment issues Five (5) years or more performing maintenance on high‑voltage (480 V) equipment and AC/DC motors or components One (1) year or more experience using automation warehouse execution systems (WES) to ensure proper communication with warehouse management systems (WMS) Two (2) years or more using machine‑level HMI screens or control systems to diagnose machine faults and validate inputs and outputs from the field back to the PLCs Knowledge of 480 V and pneumatic equipment Working knowledge of computer‑based equipment maintenance and parts inventory systems Demonstrated independent problem‑solving capability Ability to use PLC and HMI programming software to add form and function to an established program; Allen Bradley, Ignition, and Wonderware preferred Understanding of 24‑VDC control systems, photoelectric & proximity sensors Experience programming/troubleshooting servo and stepper motors and related software Ability to troubleshoot/program barcode scanners and other vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Datalogic, Keyence) Warehouse maintenance safety procedures (Lockout/Tagout, fall restraint, MHE operational safety) Knowledge of operating MHE such as forklift, scissor lift, boom lift Ability to work independently in a safe manner, including at heights Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair warehouse automation systems, including conveyor systems, auto storage and retrieval systems, auto guided vehicles, and other electrical and control systems in the facility Perform preventive and corrective maintenance work orders as assigned Perform root‑cause and failure analysis on major equipment downtime events with site engineering and management and implement corrective actions Utilize the computerized maintenance management system to maintain department organization and communicate with plant and corporate management Maintain and ensure spare parts inventories and/or consignment inventories are consistent with procedures Actively participate in safety and lean programs; support the Ryder culture Ensure a clean and organized maintenance area; facility always tour‑ready Participate in continuous development and improvement of maintenance policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures Perform other duties as assigned Equal Opportunity Employer Ryder is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and a drug‑free workplace.
