About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years in Med Surg License: New Hampshire RN license or Compact Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS Active American Heart Association ACLS Must-Have: EPIC experience Willingness to float to other units as needed Own vehicle Description: Coordinates total nursing care for patients. Participates in patient and family teaching. Provides leadership by cooperating with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel. Maintains standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Dress code requires traveler-provided professional scrubs with no logos. Traveler may float to custodial patients as needed. Higher patient ratio and lower acuity for floating. All medical and occupational health compliance items must be completed within five days of offer acceptance. Proofs must be uploaded to the designated system. All requests for time off must be included in the profile at the time of submission. Scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. Requests after the offer may lead to rescinded offers. A supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment is required. Work history and skills checklist for medical-surgical nursing must be documented and current.
