New College Grad, Staff Engineer Technology Development

Responsibilities Responsible for developing future generation of 3D NAND flash. Contribute to defining new device architectures, developing scaling paths, process improvement, and novel device operating strategy for cutting‑edge memory technologies. Scope includes development of new types of device, design and process architectures involving novel materials, structures, and operating algorithms to deliver industry leadership in performance, reliability, power, and cost. Responsible for understanding existing technology limitations from first principles and creating innovative ideas to solve problems. Qualifications Required PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Applied Physics, or a related field. New or recent graduates with availability to start in July2026 or later. In‑depth knowledge of semiconductor device physics and/or nano‑electronics. Proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment. Good problem‑solving skills demonstrating analytical capabilities, sound technical foundations, and creativity. Comfortable solving new problems outside domain. Familiarity with coding languages such as Python and Perl and statistical analysis software such as Spotfire, Jump is an advantage. Knowledge of non‑volatile memory and/or emerging memory is a plus. Preferred Skills Excellent writing, editing, communication, and presentation skills. Detail‑oriented and organized. Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage deadlines across projects.
