Job Details: Level: Experienced, Location: Nor Cal Bay Area - San Jose, CA 95112, Position Type: Full Time, Education Level: High School, Salary Range: $25.95 - $25.95 Hourly, Travel Percentage: Up to 50%, Job Shift: Day. Benefits 100% company-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees on first day of hire Comprehensive coverage for qualifying dependents, including 100% dental and vision and 50% medical Retirement savings plan with up to a 5% company match Mileage reimbursement for work-related travel Paid vacation, sick time, and paid holidays, including your birthday Student Loan Repayment Assistance Program What You'll Be Doing Develop, cultivate, and maintain business partner relationships that lead to jobs or volunteer opportunities for OFA clients Provide at least one potential partnership lead to the OFA Business Development Manager per month Secure a minimum of four client job placements per month Present employment model to employers Negotiate new or renewal wage levels with employers Accompany clients as they need their first day of work Create, complete, and maintain Job Contact Log, Development Summary Log, work inventory, assessment, master application, etc. Complete all required documentation and reports Attend ISP meetings, as assigned Provide interview training to clients Provide placement updates to Business Development Manager Effectively relay issues and concerns to the Business Development Manager Identify and engage in network-building activities such as community and professional organizations Attend at least one networking event per quarter and 2-3 marketing/vendor fairs per year Conduct trainings to business partners Support the Customized Employment (CE) process, which includes the core stages: Discovery, Job Search Planning, Job Development and Negotiation, Placement Support, and Post-Employment Support Upon hire, employees are required to complete the CE training within 6 months to ensure compliance with best practices and maintain service quality standards Additional duties as assigned What We're Looking For Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or another related field (Preferred) Experience: Experience with job development and placement strategies, including but not limited to job analysis and job carving Experience working with multiple local employers in the community Marketing and/or sales experience (preferred) Experience with instruction in critical life need areas, with emphasis on employment readiness job placement and employment (preferred) Experience with small group placements (preferred) Other Requirements: 21 years of age or older A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record are required for this role This role requires travel within the region where services are provided Final candidates must successfully complete a background check Physical Demands & Work Environment This position requires the employee to regularly stand, walk, sit, talk and hear. The employee must be capable of writing, using a computer keyboard, telephone and related office equipment. Ability to lift 10lbs required.
