Location: New York, NY 10002 Start Date: 06/08/2026 End Date: 08/08/2026 Duration: 8 Weeks Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Position Type: Contract / Staffing Supplier Sourced

Position Overview The X-Ray Technologist will operate radiologic imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance. This role involves direct patient interaction, exam documentation, radiation safety, equipment maintenance, and collaboration with clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for X-ray procedures
• Operate radiologic imaging equipment safely and accurately
• Maintain radiation protection standards for patients and staff
• Process and review radiographs for image quality
• Document procedures and patient care records accurately
• Troubleshoot imaging equipment and coordinate repairs if needed
• Maintain inventory of radiology supplies
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
• Participate in continuing education and yearly competency requirements
• Support team operations and additional departmental duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Active New York State Licensed Radiologic Technologist (L.R.T.)
• ARRT Certification REQUIRED
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures and radiation safety

Experience

• Open to candidates with 0–2 years of experience
• New graduates with proper licensing/certification may be considered
