We are looking for an engaging facilitator and leader to promote dialogue, bridge-building, and interfaith community on our campus. In this position, you will play a key role in shaping campus culture across the Centers for Student Success and Belonging within the Student Affairs division. You will help students build real connections across various backgrounds, and interfaith beliefs, and create programs that motivate the next generation of student leaders. As the program coordinator, you will have the following Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and assess dynamic workshops and training sessions, along with resources that empower students to engage in meaningful dialogue across diverse perspectives. Designs, facilitates, and evaluates engagement opportunities and resources to strengthen belonging, wellbeing, and academic success for students navigating religious and spiritual diversity. Develops services to increase awareness, capacity, and skills related to dialogue, bridge building, and navigating differences. Serve as a campus resource and collaborator, guiding efforts to strengthen interfaith dialogue and foster a deep sense of belonging. Supervise a dedicated student intern and lead our Interfaith Fellows Program, guiding students as they develop their own leadership and facilitation skills. Work collaboratively within a team of professionals to integrate restorative dialogue practices into the Centers for Student Success and Belonging. Key Job Responsibilities: Organizes student-focused programming and resources to promote new and ongoing educational initiatives Serves as a subject matter expert regarding student affairs to internal and external stakeholders Generates and analyzes reports of curricular and unit outcomes Provides high-quality support, supervision, and mentorship to the Interfaith Fellows program, a cohort of undergraduate students focused on growing knowledge about the variety of global religious traditions and developing skills to communicate with people across differences. Support, supervise, and actively mentor student interns, fostering their personal and professional development, while cultivating a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment. Writes, edits, and publishes content for various communication projects and marketing platforms to align with strategic initiatives and established communication campaigns Creates and maintains schedules, logistics, and resources for one or multiple student affairs programs, activities, and/or services Department: Student Affairs, Student Success and Belonging, Office of Inclusion Education The Office of Inclusion Education, situated within the Centers for Student Success and Belonging, advances the education and dialogue priorities of Student Affairs' Student Success and Belonging portfolio. Within this structure, student centers are nested as part of an integrated approach to learning, leadership, and engagement across differences. This includes the Center for Interfaith Dialogue, which houses much of the portfolio's dialogue based work, including interfaith dialogue and other dialogue initiatives that support leadership development and foster understanding across diverse beliefs, traditions, and worldviews. The Office of Inclusion Education is part of Student Affairs at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, led by the vice chancellor for student affairs. Our staff is dedicated to serving students and to helping them succeed in and out of the classroom in areas including health and well-being, student success and belonging, leadership and engagement, and student advocacy. Compensation: The expected minimum starting salary for this position is $50,000.00 annually. Actual pay will depend on experience and qualifications. For a summary of benefits, please see Required Qualifications: Proven experience designing and delivering workshops, training sessions, or structured dialogues around diverse perspectives and viewpoints. Knowledge of best practices related to diverse religious, spiritual, and nonreligious identities and histories. Demonstrated ability to connect with, support, and build bridges among students from a wide variety of cultural, religious, spiritual, and non-religious backgrounds. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities with precision and attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications: Strong leadership skills with a track record of guiding, mentoring, or supervising others (e.g., student staff, interns, or volunteers) to develop their own skills. Experience planning, implementing, and assessing student-centered programming or initiatives within a community or campus setting. Familiarity with college life, student development ideas, and how Student Affairs or Student Success divisions operate. Knowledge of or experience with formal assessment tools and data collection to measure the impact and effectiveness of campus belonging initiatives.
