Responsibilities Actively support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience. Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow and build new business in your territory. Service accounts in person and via phone, seeking incremental growth opportunities. Utilize Salesforce daily for reporting and tracking purposes. Build relationships with dealers and dealer groups to maximize revenue opportunities. Know the competition and how to sell against it. Assess customers’ wholesale inventory needs and offer solutions to increase their business with ACV Auctions. Educate customers on the breadth of our product offerings and available services. Forecast and report incoming business activity on a monthly and yearly basis. Ensure customers and prospects understand our products through a consultative selling approach. Maintain current customer satisfaction by responding quickly to problems, concerns, or needs. Proactively market the company to customers and convey product advantages. Be accountable and aware of financial activity within your book of business. Adapt to changes in your book of business, customer contacts, and internal structure or role changes. Manage day‑to‑day operations of Vehicle Condition Inspectors and KPIs. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of dealership experience, either used or new car side of business. Fluent English (reading, writing, speaking). Experience selling into dealerships and strong auction knowledge preferred. Must be able to travel daily to existing and prospective dealerships. Understand the retail/wholesale marketplace operational context. Excellent relationship‑building skills, both in person and over the phone. Strong internal and external networking skills to increase personal effectiveness. Positive, upbeat demeanor. Self‑motivated and able to work independently. Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and help others adapt. Experience using a CRM, preferably Salesforce, to maintain and plan sales pipeline. Valid driver’s license and a validly registered and insured motor vehicle. Compensation The base compensation range for this position is listed in the “Job Details” section at the bottom of this posting. The role is eligible for additional compensation under ACV’s incentive compensation plan: a variable target of $42,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, skill set, location, business needs, market demands, performance, and other factors as permitted by law. #J-18808-Ljbffr
