Lead Technical Project Manager

Team Lead (Project Manager/Technical Lead)Job Location: Tallahassee, FL Job Duration: 12 month contractJob Overview: As a member of the Project Team, the Team Lead will provide guidance and instruction related to development of the application, ensure all team members are appropriately tasked, that the project is appropriately resourced, work directly with the customer to ensure proper understanding between the business needs and the technology design and implementation, and oversee the project team to ensure the project remains on schedule.Job Tasks/Deliverables:Good communication and collaboration skills are a must as this individual will work closely with the customer, management, and the project team.Review requirements and gain a complete understanding of the proposed new system.Oversee and direct the project team.Conduct planning, scheduling, execution, and implementation activities to meet project goals and deadlines.Work with project team members to identify the tasks needed to complete projects, estimate the level of effort to complete tasks, and ensure assignment of tasks.Tracks project performance and manage scope, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.Communicate project status and information to stakeholders, management, and team members in a timely and clear manner.Assist in unit and system testing and with the coordination of user acceptance testing.Respond to all issues reported out of testing and ensure resolution of all defects.Elicit, capture, analyze, refine, articulate, and document business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and software documentation via approved processes.Manage requirement changes throughout the project lifecycle.Collaborate closely with Users and project team.Able to oversee design of test cases.Manage project scope, acceptance, installation, and deployment of application.Manage relationships with stakeholders.Create technical and administrative reports.Lead and facilitate meetings, making certain meetings have specific, stated objectives and agendas, and that meeting minutes are kept.Assess, track, and resolve project risks, actions, issues, and decisions.Analyze data requirements and understand data mapping and migration, to ensure data is stored, retrieved, and displayed as expected.Experience Required:Proven success for seven or more years leading and/or managing application development projects or teams.Knowledge of development tools and components to include the.Net Framework, ASP.Net, C#, MVC, Entity Framework, web services, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Knockout, Angular, and Kendo.Knowledge of application and database security concerns and how to avoid.Knowledge of MS SQL Server, SQL queries, stored procedures, and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).Knowledge of Windows Authentication and Web Application login security.Knowledge of Visual Studio Unit Testing Framework (or other unit testing frameworks)Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, including SCRUM.Skill in leading application development or other technology projects.Skill in creating Project Implementation Plans.Skill in using DevOps.Skill in analyzing and interpreting user requirements.Skill in time-management and prioritization of tasks.Ability to estimate daily tasks for the team and communicate impediments in a timely manner.Ability to communicate technical and business information clearly and concisely, both verbal and written.Ability to be detail oriented, analytical in thinking, and ability to multitask.
