Phlebotomist

Sea Mar Community Health Centers, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) founded in 1978, is a community‑based organization that provides quality health, human, housing, educational, and cultural services, specializing in serving Latino communities in Washington State. We are recruiting for a Phlebotomy Technician (MA-P) – Lab Services. This role supports patient diagnosis and treatment by performing phlebotomy, waived lab tests, automated CBCs, EKGs, and spirometry to ensure accurate specimen collection, testing, and documentation. Compensation: Starting wage of $21.30 per hour. Work schedule: Monday – Friday (can be edited based on need). Key Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws; ensure proper specimen handling. Conduct EKGs and spirometry testing with proper calibration and documentation. Process specimens for reference labs and maintain QC/QA logs. Maintain inventory, equipment, and safe lab practices per CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA. Communicate results and coordinate with providers and clinical staff. Qualifications Active Washington State MA-P (Medical Assistant‑Phlebotomist) certification required. High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent). Strong customer service and phlebotomy skills. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Must pass pre‑hire competency test.
