As a Nordstrom Rack team member, you’ll work across Sales, Customer Service, Stock, and Fulfillment to create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for every customer. Your focus is on a quick, easy customer experience while keeping the store clean and clutter‑free. Responsibilities Sales and Customer Service Collaborate with the team to keep the sales floor runway‑ready, including re‑merchandising and straightening throughout the day. Assist customers at the cashier while handling transactions across in‑store, online, and mobile platforms. Operate a point‑of‑sale system, bag items of all sizes, manage bulky items, and ensure a seamless, friendly experience. Provide a smooth fitting‑room experience as an attendant by greeting, assisting, and returning clothing to the floor. Maintain a clean, clutter‑free environment by sorting and returning items to the sales floor. Keep stockrooms organized, verify merchandise entry, and maintain accurate ticketing. Use in‑store technologies effectively and uphold operational, merchandise, and asset‑protection standards. Promote Nordstrom Rewards and related initiatives. Stock and Fulfillment Receive, unload freight, and unpack new merchandise for selling departments. Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards. Prepare and ship customer orders in accordance with packing and shipping standards. Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process, and research merchandise shipments. Support the store by setting up special events, organizing backroom areas, markdowns, and relocating fixtures. Qualifications Clear, effective communication and strong interpersonal skills. Accountability, initiative, and a high level of ownership. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Flexible schedule availability to meet business needs. Physical Requirements Continuous movement for 6–8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching. Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling. Handle bulky items, sometimes lifting above the head, and regularly lift weights up to 10 pounds (occasionally up to 25 pounds). Stock and Fulfillment only: frequently lift/carry up to 25 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds. Pay Range $19.15 – $19.95 hourly, based on location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
