Lead Bilingual Medical Assistant Healthcare - Clinical

ExecuSource has partnered with a nationally recognized Orthopedic Sports Medicine group and we are assisting them on a search for a Lead Bilingual Medical Assistant for their new office in Worcester, MA. This is a direct-hire/permanent opportunity and the office is expected to open within the next 30-60 days.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare treatment rooms.
• Record patients' medical history, vitals, or information such as test results in medical records.
• Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician.
• Explain treatment procedures, medications, or physicians' instructions to patients.
• Inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
• Perform administrative/clerical work.
• May operate x-ray or other equipment to administer routine diagnostic testing.
• Cleans and sterilize medical equipment.
• Prepare all pre-screening for procedures and surgical consults.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program required; Medical Assistant Certification or Registered Medical Assistant strongly preferred.
• Leadership/Managerial experience.
• 3+ years of clinical experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) required.
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of electronic medical record systems.
• Knowledge of diagnostic testing equipment and sterilization equipment.
• Knowledge of patient care and examination procedures.

Pay: Competitive to the market. Hours: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p.
