Quick Facts Location: Paducah, KY Start Date: 12/24/2026 End Date: Flexible (Preference for 12/24-12/28 or 12/28-1/4) Shift: 24-hour shift (7 am - 7 am) Hours per week: Varies (4-7 shifts per month) Employment Type: Locum License/Certifications: Kentucky medical license required Experience: Adult Cardiac Surgery experience required Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $0.00 (Competitive pay discussed upon application) Benefits: Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Medical benefits (W-2) Referral bonus program Paid sick leave following applicable laws Licensure, travel, and other reimbursements (when applicable) Lodging support ( $150/night); all bookings authorized at standard/economy rates What You ll Do Perform adult cardiac surgeries including CABG, heart valve repair/replacement, and redo procedures Conduct general thoracic procedures such as thoracostomy, tracheostomy, lung biopsy, and VATS decortication Manage ICU high-risk cases, including Impella procedures and medical management of critically ill patients Support Structural Heart Procedures in hybrid or cath lab settings Collaborate with anesthesiology and ancillary staff to ensure comprehensive patient care Document clinical interventions efficiently using EPIC EMR system Participate in scheduled shifts and maintain timely patient care interventions What You Need Required: State medical license in Kentucky Expertise in adult cardiac surgery Skills in CABG, valve surgery, and thoracic procedures Ability to manage ICU critical care cases Preferred: Experience with structural heart procedures and hybrid OR environment Knowledge of EPIC EMR system About the Assignment Join a dedicated team at a hospital-based setting focused on adult cardiac and thoracic surgery.
