• Experience: Proven experience in adult cardiac and thoracic surgery

What You'll Do:

• Provide adult cardiac surgery, including CABG, valve repair/replacement, and reoperative cases
• Perform general thoracic procedures such as tube thoracostomy, tracheostomy, bronchoscopy, VATS lung biopsy, and pericardial window
• Manage high-risk ICU cases, including Impella procedures and medical management of critically ill patients
• Support structural heart procedures in hybrid OR or cath lab setting
• Collaborate with ancillary staff including first assist and anesthesia teams
• Document procedures accurately using EPIC EMR system
• Contribute to a multidisciplinary team focused on providing exceptional patient care

What You Need:

Required:

• Medical license in Kentucky or ability to obtain one within approximately 90 days
• Proven experience in adult cardiac surgery and thoracic procedures
• Ability to assist with high-risk ICU management and support structural heart interventions

Preferred:

• Thoracic surgery experience (not mandatory)
• Experience with EPIC EMR and hybrid OR procedures
