Job Opportunity: Locum Cardiac Surgery Physician in Paducah, KY

Join our dynamic health facility in Paducah, Kentucky, where we are seeking a locum Cardiac Surgery Physician with a heavy cardiac focus. This practice is based in a hospital setting that prioritizes patient-centered care in a collaborative environment. Our facility offers modern amenities and is supported by a dedicated anesthesiology team and an experienced ICU staff, all committed to exceptional patient outcomes.

• Perform Adult Cardiac Surgery, including:
• CABG (Arterial Revascularization Using Internal Mammary Arteries, Radial Artery; Redo cases)
• Heart Valve Repair/Replacement Surgery
• Conduct General Thoracic Surgery procedures such as:
  • Tube Thoracostomy
  • Tracheostomy
  • Bronchoscopy
  • VATS decortication/lung biopsy
  • Pericardial Window
• Manage ICU for high-risk cases involving:
  • Impella Insertion/Removal/Bailout
  • Medical management of critically ill patients
• Provide Structural Heart Procedure Support in the Hybrid OR / Cath Lab

• Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• BLS Certification
• Kentucky License (preferred; candidates willing to obtain a license are also encouraged to apply)
• CLEAN BACKGROUND
• Experience with Impella support (Insertion/Removal/Bailout)
• Experience supporting Structural Heart procedures in Hybrid OR/Cath Lab
• Must be available for one of the specified date ranges

• Board Certified - Required
• BLS Certified - Required
• Kentucky License - Preferred (willing to accept candidates needing to obtain a license)
• Must have a clean background as per facility standards
• Impella support experience - Required
• Structural Heart Support experience - Required
