Architectural staff 2-8 years experience

Wattenbarger Architects is looking for architectural staff with 2-8 years experience. We have a number of townhome / multi-family / senior housing projects in the Puget sound area and are looking to fill this position immediately. Founded in 1980, Wattenbarrer Architects is located in Bellevue WA. Our office is located on Lake Bellevue and has free parking and easy access to light rail. Our firm’s historic focus is on senior housing, including independent, assisted living, and memory care. In recent years we have expanded or focus to include mixed use and multifamily residential design. Licensure is not a requirement, however we are looking for a candidate with sufficient experience to fully contribute to design and production. Applicants should be proficient in Revit and MS Office. Experience with AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop, Powerpoint, and other graphics, rendering and presentation software is a +. Applicants should also have good verbal and written communications skills. We are a small firm, with a current staff of 14. We take our work seriously, but have a relaxed atmosphere. General Responsibilities will depend upon the skills and experience of the candidate and may include the following. Develop architectural designs from conceptual ideas working with Principals and senior design staff. Provide construction document drafting, coordination, and support using Revit. Coordination with other design consultants and other stakeholders in the project. Provide assistance with code studies and analysis. Assistance in applying for required approvals by the AHJ. Provide construction administration services in support of projects.
